By Air –

Regional airlines Sansa and Nature Air offer several daily flights from San Jose to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez. Both airlines can provide online ticket purchases.

Sansa is located within walking distance from Juan Santamaria International airport. Time your flight right and you can arrive in San Jose, walk to Sansa, catch a flight to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez and be on the property by 2:00 in the afternoon. Sansa airplanes are single engine Cessna planes.

Nature Air is located at Tobias Bolanos Airport in Pavas. You would need to take a 20 minute taxi ride from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose to Pavas. Nature Air can run a bit more expensive than Sansa, however their fleet is comprised of twin engine planes and we think they’ve a much nicer waiting area than Sansa.

We will meet you at the either Golfito or Puerto Jimenez airport, taxi to the dock and take a very scenic 30-40 minute boat ride to Saladero.

By Car –

Golfito – Guests can leave their cars at the Hotel Samoa del Sur located on the water on the main road on the left after you pass through the center of town. It is a hotel and bar with security. They will watch your car there in a fenced lot for $10 per day. We can pick you up at the Hotel dock.

Puerto Jimenez – Unless you have planned to go to Corcovado National Park or some other location on the Osa, we would not recommend going there by car. The road is very bad. However if you do go there, you can leave your car at any one of the hotels near or on the beach with a security fence and we will pick you up at the public dock in Puerto Jimenez.We will be happy to help you work out the best way for you to get to Saladero.
