Beach House

Just steps from the beach and at the center of all activity, the two-story beach house is constructed from beautiful exotic hardwoods and offers unobstructed 360° views of the property and gulf. The main house will accommodate large groups or an extended family.

The second story offers open-air lounging with a private king bedroom and bath, a huge open living area with additional sleeping area with two queen beds and a guest bath. The living room area with sofa, tables and chairs overlooks the ocean, flora and fauna below.

 

The private outdoor passive solar hot water shower lies among the botanicals and under the blue sky or evening stars.  

 

 

The main kitchen is located on the ground level of the beach house. Three meals are served daily (See our Sample Menu).  Enjoy open air ocean breezes and serene views of the gulf and garden.  The large covered BBQ pit and pizza oven in the garden adjacent to the beach house is perfect for an evening get-together or special events.

Tree House

Eighty-eight steps lead to this private and intimate treetop cabin in the canopy overlooking the gulf. The spacious cabin is equipped with a full bath and beautiful hardwood floors.

The tree house offers visitors the opportunity to observe activity while perched in native jungle canopy. Howler monkeys, toucans, and parrots are just a few of the animals you may spot while sipping your morning tea or coffee on the private balcony.

This cabin is perfect for those seeking tranquility and harmony with nature. It is fully screened and has a queen bed and a single bed. Electic lighting from a battery and candles. The shower is cold water only. You would also have access to the hot shower on the front of the beach house.

Mariposa Cabin

Totally screened with battery lighting. The Mariposa cabin has one double bed and one single bed. Private garden location close to the pineapple plants and the cashew trees with a view of the Golfo Dulce in front.

Bathroom and shower is located 200 feet away. Meals are served at the Beach House (click here for sample menu). As with our other cabins the rental includes boat transfer from and back to either Pto Jimenez or Golfito, use of our kayaks, snorkeling and fishing equipment.

CAMPING

Finca Saladero offers 30 acres of maintained tropical gardens for those who seek a true camping adventure. Our tended gardens offer plenty of room for budget travelers or spirited naturalists alike.

A new full shower and bathroom is available as well as an additional outside shower close to the beach, wood bbq grill and covered picnic table. The beach house nearby has UV treated water for drinking and we offer coke, bottled water, beer and wine for sale.

Camping Fee: $10 per night per person (Food and boat transportation not included)

Rental Fees for campers:
Kayaks: $10 for 1/2 day - $15 whole day
Snorkeling Equipment: $5
